When I am not working with the autism community, which is my passion, I love to travel with Olivia.  My favorite vacations are on the beach. Especially Jost van Dyke. I could hang out at The Soggy Dollar forever!


I love everything french; Champagne, Baguettes, Chocolate Souffles, Cheese and France.   That is why having a Wedding at a French Restaurant is the perfect setting for me.


I am a fan of the Theatre. I enjoy going to Broadway, especially musicals.  Music is another passion of mine. I grew up with Classic Rock and Country Music.  Today, I have expanded my musical tastes and enjoy all good music.


I have worked with the autism community for almost 20 years using the science of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to teach individuals with autism from eighteen months to 21 years old. I am currently a Behavior Analyst for a Public School educating 70 learners with autism ages 3 - 21 in district.  I have been published in Professional Journals three times, twice in The Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis and once in Research in Autism Spectrum Disorders.


I am a graduate of the Queens College and Graduate Center, CUNY Ph.D., Program in Learning Process Doctoral Subprogram from the Department of Psychology,





Groom

My passion in life is higher education. I value learning.That is why it was important for me to encourage Randi to complete her Ph.D. back in the day.  I enjoyed going to professional conferences and sit in her classes because I learned something each time. In one class, I called out the professor for an error in her notes on the board. I could do that, I was not a student.


I love technology and computers. I enjoy introducing new technological advances in the classroom and to the teaching faculty at Bergen Community College (BCC).  I have been at BCC as a Media Technican for over 30 years.


I am passionate about Judaism. I wear a beret as a symbol of my faith. I am happy we finally found a Jewish home at CBST. Being Jewish is an important part of my identity. We try to visit synagogues around the world on our vacations. We have visited Shuals in Paris, Reims, France, Curaco and St Thomas.  I prayed on Shabbat in Wildwood when we have traveled to the shore for a week in the summer.  Having a Jewish Wedding is important to me.


I also enjoy traveling, especially with Olivia. Although, beach destinations may not be my favorite, I enjoy how happy they make Randi. I would like to visit more of Europe and other destinations we have yet to explore. Someday, I want to go to Israel.
