 Cruise Itinerary:

February 13, 2015 - Sydney, Australia

Welcome to Sydney, mate! Australia’s largest city is multi-faceted, with endless sights to see. Wander through The Rocks and you’ll see the home of Sydney’s earliest colonial settlement as well as the Harbour Bridge…ride the ferry around the harbor and sail right under it! Save the best for last and see the iconic Sydney Opera House, Australia’s most recognizable landmark.

February 14, 2015 - At Sea

Spend the day celebrating Olivia’s 25th anniversary of travel! Shop the boutique for commemorative memorabilia made especially for this trip. You can also settle in and make new friends with “Show Your Roots Day” – wear a hat or t-shirt that represents your hometown.

February 15, 2015 - Hobart, Tasmania, Australia

A provocative mix of history and contemporary culture, Hobart has been ranked one of the top 10 cities in the world by Lonely Planet. Here, you can stroll the harborside docks, browse art studios and enjoy fish and chips alongside boats and fisherman, or sample the famous wines of the Coal River Valley. You’ll also have the chance to visit Bonorong Wildlife Park, where you’ll have the opportunity to see Forester kangaroos, koalas and native Tasmanian species such as devils, quolls and wombats. If you’re looking for something artsy and active, rent a bike from the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery and immerse yourself in the city’s vibrant art districts.

February 16, 2015 - At Sea

Relax on board and take in the rejuvenating ocean views and salt air during this day at sea. Curl up by the window with some friends and drink a glass of wine. Or join in one of the dozens of activities the Olivia staff has planned just for you. Join us for a group commitment ceremony, where you can say or renew your vows in front of your new Olivia friends. Take a dance lesson, play bingo, head to the casino, or treat yourself to a spa day...the choices are nearly endless!

February 17, 2015 - At Sea

Enjoy the fresh air during this day at sea by lounging poolside or strolling the decks. Take this day to relax before the adventure begins again in New Zealand!

February 18, 2015 - Scenic cruising Fiordland National Park

Located on the southwest corner of the South Island, Fiordland National Park is one of the most dramatic and beautiful parts of New Zealand. The largest national park in the country, Fiordland boasts spectacular views of craggy mountains and lakes, and isolated species that are native only to this part of the world. Who knows, you may see wildlife you’ve never seen before!

February 19, 2015 - Port Chalmers (Dunedin), New Zealand

The charming and artistic community of Port Chalmers is your gateway to Dunedin, New Zealand’s city of the south. Surrounded by dramatic hills, it is one of the best-preserved Victorian and Edwardian cities in the Southern Hemisphere. Explore the city’s Scottish heritage through the Fletcher and The Olveston Houses. Walk around Larnach Castle and learn about the tragic ad scandalous history of William Larnach. For wildlife seekers, opportunities abound! See the world’s rarest yellow-eyed and blue penguins, as well as the only mainland breeding colony of Royal Albatross in the world.

February 20, 2015 - Akaroa (Christchurch), New Zealand

Dock in Akaroa and spend the day looking out for the world’s smallest and rarest dolphin, Hector’s dolphin, swimming in the harbor! You can also visit the French colony’s sandy beaches, indulge in a world-reknown day spa, browse the local artisan craft stores for souvenirs, or admire the scenery at one of the trendy cafés in town. For those who love city life, take an excursion to Christchurch, the South Island’s largest city, and see the Canterbury Museum, the International Antarctic Centre and Cathedral Square.

February 21, 2015 - Wellington, New Zealand

Welcome to Wellington, home of more bars and restaurants than New York City! Taste your way through the capital city’s rich culinary traditions of farm fresh local produce and delicious seafood. Discover New Zealand’s history at Te Papa, the country’s national museum, or ride the historic Wellington cable car through the beautiful botanic garden. To see a panoramic of the city, walk or drive to the top of Mount Victoria and enjoy 360° views. For the artsy types, stroll down Cuba Street, a bohemian haven with some of the most colorful shops, bars and cafés in the city. This is also your chance to explore the landscape used for filming The Lord of the Rings trilogy!

February 22, 2015 - At Sea

Hang out with your Olivia friends, mix and mingle in the casino, take in a show, go dancing or sit by the pool and watch the New Zealand coast sail by. For those who’ve traveled with Olivia more than once, come to the Alumni party to pick up your pin with the number of trips you’ve been on!

February 23, 2015 - Tauranga (Rotorua), New Zealand

Peaceful Tauranga is your starting point to a plethora of incredible activities, both in the city itself and outside its boundaries. Sitting on the Bay of Plenty, Tauranga and its surrounding areas offer many opportunities to explore the rich Maori history and culture, as well as New Zealand’s hotspots in the Pacific Ring of Fire. Hell’s Gate Geothermal Reserve in Rotorua – the geo-thermal wonderland of fiery heat, steam and magical waters – is just one place where you can walk past steaming fumeroles and pools of boiling mud, and see Kakahi Falls, the largest hot waterfall in the Southern Hemisphere. Take a boat ride through the Glow-Worm Cave at Waitomo; look up, and you will see millions of bioluminescent glow-worms sticking to its roof. And, if you love kiwifruit, orchards are aplenty throughout the region…Te Puke is the kiwifruit capital of the world.

February 24, 2015 - Auckland, New Zealand

It’s time to say goodbye to your Olivia family in Auckland, but you can still continue the adventure after you disembark. Visit the world’s most extensive Maori and Pacific Island collection at the Auckland War Memorial Museum. Discover West Auckland’s oldest established vineyards, miles of beach and Woodhill Forrest. Take an EcoZip adventure on Waiheke Island or ride a horse through Auckland’s scenic farmland. Your last day “Down Under” will surely be one you won’t forget!
