Even though you cannot be here physically I know you will be in spirit. When the day comes, I know you will smiling and walking with me every step of the way, holding my hand, giving me comfort and strength. 

The love you had with mom for 63 years never went unnoticed, and I will strive to have that same loving, caring relationship as you did, for the rest of my life with Tammy.  I may not reach 63 years of marriage because I would then be 108 years old, but I will love her, cherish her and  grow old with her until the end of time.

Mom, you have spent countless hours of your life supporting me and all that I have done.  You were there to support me throughout all my years of athetic events and school.  You were the first one to arrive at my sporting events.  You were the one who cheered the loudest from the stands.  You were the one who cried the most at my graduation ceremonies.   

This day will be bittersweet for me.  It is going to be the happiest day of my life and my eyes will shed tears of love and joy.  At the same time my heart will shed tears of incredible sadness and lonliness as I continue to miss you.  My only comfort is knowing you will be here in spirit.
