We’re Janick [they/them] and Hannah [she/her], also known as JHK. 

We met through our shared passion for dance and, after being best friends for a few years, we started dating in 2017. Our relationship began long-distance, with Hannah living in Montréal and Janick living in Los Angeles. We spent those early years going back and forth between our two homes, to support each other's current lifestyle.

In 2019, after a five-week adventure through New Zealand, we officially moved in together and launched our baby Bee-Yond Belief. 

In 2021, in the middle of the global pandemic, we got engaged in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. 

Over the years, we kept pushing back our wedding plans… and somehow kept choosing to take trips together instead. We’ve always loved creating memories and experiencing the world together, but this time, we decided it was finally time to prioritize the wedding we’d been talking about for so long.

So, on September 12, 2026, we’re finally getting married! 

More than anything, we want this day to be a celebration of our love and of the people who have been part of our story. The people who have supported us, cheered us on, loved us, and helped shape our journey along the way.

We’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter with the people we love most. And after all those years of postponing the wedding for another trip… we promise this time, the wedding is the trip.
